Church History
Cross Roads Community Church was launched in September 2001 in Challenger Elementary located in Pearland, Texas.  Four hundred adults, youth and children filled the cafetorium of that school on Hughes Ranch Road.  The message Pastor Hartwell imparted that day was entitled “In The Meantime.”

A tribal Capital Campaign was initiated to purchase 78 acres in Manvel, Texas.  In the process of purchasing 78 acres in Manvel, Texas, the church relocated from the elementary school on Hughes Ranch Road to Silverlake Business Park on Miller Ranch Road.  After fourteen months of waiting with expectancy, CRCC finally found a place they could call home.
Once again, the church a launched a “Digging in Fruitful Places” Capital Campaign to build a multipurpose building on the 78 acres.  Serendipity interrupted the plan to build on the 78 acre tract.  Three miles from the business park on Miller Ranch Road was an existing church campus that encompassed a 35,000 square feet facility on 22 acres.  The Board of Directors and church body unanimously chose to relocate and purchase the existing church campus in contrast to building on the 78 acre tract of land.

On October 2005 CRCC had their first worship service on Manvel Road in Pearland, Texas.  CRCC presently has two worship services on Sunday at the Pearland location, along with exciting experiences for toddlers, children and youth.  A warm and encouraging bible study on Tuesday called Empowerment.  In April 2009 CRCC launched their second location in Rosharon, Texas on Highway Six.  That location is experiencing spiritual and numerical growth.   Those that have connected with that campus worship on Sundays at 8:45 a.m. and are equipped through an Empowerment bible study on Wednesday evening for adults, youth and children at 7:15 p.m.
The potential, purpose and possibilities are unlimited for CRCC as the promises of God continue to be made manifest.

Jehovah Shalom: The Lord is Our Peace

In the Holy Land when you hear the word Shalom, it is a greeting when you meet someone or it is a blessing when you depart.  Peace is translated as, "being well or whole".  It is wholeness that we obtain with God through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
